Kerry Appleyard is SVP, Head of Scripted Canada and responsible for primetime scripted development and production for Boat Rocker Studios in Canada.  She recently Executive Produced new dramas Robyn Hood created by Director X for Corus and the spinoff series Orphan Black: Echoes for AMC.  Appleyard serves as Executive Producer on original primetime content, notably critically acclaimed clone thriller Orphan Black (Space, BBC America), WWII spy drama X Company (CBC) and genre comedy Cavendish (CBC) as well as overseeing space adventure Killjoys (Space, Syfy) under the company’s previous Temple Street banner.   Appleyard also shepherded teen phenom The Next Step (Family Channel), its spin-off, Lost and Found Music Studios (Netflix) and the hit series Wingin’ It (Family Channel Canada, BBC), and worked on the Gemini award-winning television movie The Nativity (CBC, BBC).

Previously Appleyard served as Head of Development for UK-based Kudos Film and Television, where she also produced the BBC’s hit show Hustle, and the children’s spy comedy-drama M. I. High. Other credits include Lynda La Plante’s Trial and Retribution, The Bill and Life on Mars II.
